A Conert Grand Piano

Performance

My first experience of playing music in public came at about aged 7. It was at Saltash Town Hall in a music festival. I don't remember what I played as it was such a long time ago but it was probably quite modest. What I do remember though was being placed either second or third to a much older pianist playing Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata. This was my first experience of performing and the first time I had heard the "Moonlight" I was hooked on both.

Twenty years later and I'm still performing!

I have performed at numerous venues in many towns and cities. Concerts have ranged from concerto engagements, evening recitals, lunchtime recitals, chamber music and private functions. Recent performances have included Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No 3 in D minor, Brahms' Piano Concerto No 1, and numerous solo works including Liszt's Sonata in B minor, Beethoven's Op. 111 sonata, Chopin's 4th Ballade and many others.
